40 exhibitions in a year: exhibition number three • Wedgwood factory and museum

One of the most inspirational trips I think I’ve ever been on.

The clean lines, the colour combinations, the textures, the skills, the craftsmanship, all used to create beautiful piece after beautiful piece. An amazing collection held within the museum, and fascinating to see the different components being carefully assembled, decorated, and embellished within the factory. I will be visiting again and again as it just fed my ideas and reaffirmed my passion for ceramic ware. There’s just so much potential with such simple techniques, but the skill level of the factory workers was astounding.
